Engaging Children to Become Thinkers

Last week I had the privilege to be invited to Bucharest to work with 120 Early Years teachers, practitioners and managers from over 30 cities around Romanian to begin the journey to developing thinking in our youngest pupils.

We had the focus of "Engaging Children to become Thinkers".

The conference was organised by Acorns Nursery and this was the fourth conference, bringing professional learning opportunities to teachers around Romanian.

For me it was a truly humbling experience, working with teachers trying to strengthen their provision and embed a new way of thinking and encouraging metacognition among their youngest pupils.

Looking forward to future collaboration of making a difference to children in Romania.
